On 26 February 2025, the State Railway Technical Inspectorate together with the Road Transport Directorate organised a seminar – discussion about the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail and preventive measures for the transport of dangerous goods with special risk potential.
The purpose of the seminar was to improve the exchange of information between state institutions and participants in the transport of dangerous goods.
The seminar, held at the Riga Motor Museum, was attended by security advisors of dangerous goods and responsible for the transport of dangerous goods.

- Current developments in the field of the National civil protection. (A.Antanāvičs, The State Fire and Rescue Service).
- Discussion of current developments and problems.
- Demonstration of The State Fire and Rescue Service special equipment.
