SELECTION PROCEDURE IN STATE RAILWAY TECHNICAL INSPECTORATE

  • INITIAL SELECTION
    • The selection committee consists of at least four members, one of whom is the head of the relevant unit;
    • The selection committee performs the initial selection and determines whether the applicants meet all the requirements and competencies specified in job advertisement, and assigns points according to criteria;
    • The selection committee invites the most suitable applicants to an interview.
  • THE INTERVIEW
    • applicants with the highest overall score are invited to an interview;
    • all necessary information about the interview is provided in the invitation letter or verbally;
    • in the interview the selection committee:
      • informs applicants on the interview procedure;
      • invites to fill in the relevant declarations;
      • informs about the tasks of the vacant position;
    • the applicant's interview is structured in the following order:
      • introduction of the applicant (briefly);
      • questions about legislation of the railway industry;
      • questions about tasks;
      • questions about obtained certificates, if it is necessary for the performance of duties;
      • questions about the minimum amount of skills (competencies);
      • questions about language skills;
    • in the interview, applicants are also asked about the motivation for which the applicant has chosen to apply for the said position;
    • the selection committee evaluates how the applied profile meets the selection criteria.
  • APPOINTMENT
    • when the interview is over, the selection committee submits a report to the head of the authority, indicating one or more candidates it considers to be the best qualified for the relevant position;
    • for those applicants who have not been further nominated by the commission for appointment, the selection committee prepares an informative letter about the evaluation results;
    • the head of the authority makes a decision on the appointment of the applicant.
  • APPEALS
    • the applicant has the right to meet with the evaluation protocol of the selection committee;
    • the applicant can appeal the decision of the head of the institution within one month according to the procedure established by the administrative process.

    • the personal data specified in the applicant's application document are processed only to ensure the conduct of this selection procedure;
