On November 1, representatives of the Estonian safety authority from the Estonian Agency for Consumer Protection and Technical supervision (Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve amet) visited the State Railway Technical Inspectorate during an exchange visit.
The following topics were discussed during the meeting:
- Activities of the supervisory authorities — organisation structure, functions and tasks of the departments;
- Resource planning and challenges;
- LDzCargo Joint monitoring for 2024 - plans, possible solutions;
- Authorisation for placing a vehicle on the market;
- Placing in service of fixed installations;
- Accident statistics and safety assessment;
- ECM certification.
