Authorisation for placing a vehicle on the market if are of use is more than one Member State

The application for a vehicle authorisation for placing on the market shall be accompanied by documentation concerning the vehicle or vehicle type (locomotive or multiple unit, special purpose vehicle, coach or freight wagon) and including documentary evidence of:

• the placing on the market of the mobile subsystems of which the vehicle is composed on the basis of "EC" declarations of verification;
• the technical compatibility of the subsystems within the vehicle, established on the basis of the relevant technical specifications for interoperability and national rules;
• the safe integration of the subsystems within the vehicle, established on the basis of the relevant technical specifications for interoperability, national rules and common safety methods referred to in the Railway Law, in particular the report of the Assessment body on the application of the CSM on risk assessment in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 402/2013;
• the technical compatibility of the vehicle with the network in the area of use (including verifications thereof), established on the basis of the relevant technical specifications for interoperability, national rules, the register of railway infrastructure and Regulation (EU) No. 402/2013.

Submission of the application, request and circulation of all information, as well as notification of decisions to the applicant shall take place through the One Stop Shop (registration requested).
